Spark adheres to and practices UDL

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a framework which draws upon neuroscience and education research, leveraging the flexibility of digital technology to design learning environments that offer options for diverse learning needs. UDL aims to optimize and enhance teaching so as to make education more responsive to learner differences and also to ensure that the benefits of education are more equitably and effectively distributed.

In order to accommodate the principles, guidelines, and checkpoints of the UDL framework (presented below), we have added a UDL accommodations section for each of the modules. We hope that these recommendations will help you create a more equitable learning experience in your classroom.
