Maria is an ESL teacher. In preparation for today's class, she asked her students to use Prezi to introduce themselves. She had already asked them to create Prezi accounts earlier in the week, and they did so effortlessly.

 

For the assignment, Maria tells them that the Prezi needs to include a visual character (or avatar) that the student can create for themselves and a persona that the student creates around their character. This could include the avatar's demography, background, family, hobbies, interests, job profile, etc.

The students are very excited because Prezi helps their presentations come to life!

Things to keep in mind

  1. Navigate to Prezi.com and create a free or premier account.

  2. You can use Prezi to create dynamic, engaging presentations.

  3. After creating your Prezi, you can share the link or embed the Prezi in your website.

  • Cost: free and paid options, depending on desired features

  • Pros

    • Can be downloaded for offline viewing

    • Easy to use interface

    • Ability to present from anywhere because of desktop and mobile app options

  • Cons

    • Prezi currently does not have the option to create Prezis on mobile devices
